I’m honestly not sure how to explain this one…this was part of the initial brief I was given from the director, Patrick Willems. ‘It’s about an evil coconut. There are musical numbers. It’s all absurd, but the presentation is played totally straight.’
I thought it should look like a 1970s thriller so tried to give it that vibe in the composition and colour choices. Final typography was by Simon Buckmaster at Standard.tv.
